Secure Your Reno (“SYR”) is a Canadian owned and operated Company with its head office located in Mississauga, Ontario with additional offices in Toronto, Ontario and Kelowna, British Columbia. SYR’s goal is to restore trust and confidence in home renovations by managing the financial risk to both Home Owners and Contractors.
FounderDomenic Maio
Domenic Maio is one of the principal founders of Secure Your Reno and is also a practicing lawyer. During his working career he has worked in numerous fields including roles with contract companies on the end of a shovel. During his legal career he has assisted both home owners and companies with legal disputes in relation to renovations. Having been on both sides of the “fence”, he helped found SYR to make renovations easier for both home owners and contractors.
FounderMark Hogan
Mark Hogan is one of the principal founders of Secure Your Reno and is also a practicing lawyer. Mark started his legal career with one of Canada’s top business law firms on Bay Street and since started his own law firm in Mississauga, Ontario. Mark has acted for companies and investors on billions of dollars of real estate transactions and has acted for both home owners and contractors in disputes, including in criminal court proceedings. Mark helped found SYR because he thoroughly understands the need for an arms length third party to help instil trust and confidence in home renovations.
